- Reservation records: approval status, date-change and cancellation requests, correspondence, and reservation activity.
- Payment and refund information: amounts, payment methods, transaction references, reported and verified receipt, refund status, and payout details submitted where needed.
- Access and security information: private reservation-access tokens and records needed to operate and protect access.

How we use information
We use information to:
- Review booking requests and manage reservations.
- Communicate with guests and provide support.
- Manage payment verification, refunds, and security deposits.
- Handle date changes, cancellations, reviews, and documented property issues.
- Protect private access and investigate suspected misuse or fraud.
- Maintain necessary business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
Services supporting our operations
Our current systems include:
- Supabase: protected application data, backend functions, and administrator authentication.
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Gmail/Google: guest correspondence.
- FormSubmit: generic administrator email alerts.
- Push-notification services: administrator alerts on registered devices.
Administrator email and push alerts are designed to direct the host to the protected dashboard without including guest names, contact information, stay dates, banking details, or private guest-access tokens.
Guest correspondence may contain information necessary to manage your reservation.
Private links and browser storage
Guests use private reservation links rather than guest accounts. The website uses access tokens and per-tab session storage to support private access. Cached website resources also support functionality.
Keep your link private and take care when using shared devices.
Technical information and external services
Hosting and backend providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps, and error or security records, when operating their services.
The website includes an embedded Google Map. Loading it may allow Google to receive technical information about your visit. External services linked from the website operate under their own privacy policies.
The Breezy Borough does not knowingly use marketing or analytics tools.
Who receives information
Authorized people and service providers receive information as needed to manage reservations, provide support, operate systems, handle payments or refunds, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Approved public reviews may display the review, rating, first name, and optional location according to the review process and guest choices. Private feedback is not published as a public review.
International processing
Our service providers may process information outside The Bahamas, including in the United States.
Retention and protection
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for reservations, payments, refunds, property issues, business records, and applicable legal obligations.
We use access controls and other technical measures to protect information. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Privacy requests
Contact us to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion where applicable.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or unresolved matters.
You may raise concerns with the relevant data-protection authority where applicable.
Updates
We will display this policy’s effective date and version and update it to reflect changes in actual practices.
